Welcome to Mountain Bijou! Your mountain escape to explore all that Kimberley and the Kootenays has to offer. Located on the ski hill with ski-in ski-out access, mountain biking, and up from Trickle Creek Golf Course––your adventure awaits! Nestled amongst the trees, the home has been lovingly updated throughout with a modern Scandinavian mountain feel, and includes 2 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs suite w kitchen, dining, living room w 2 sofa beds, fireplace and laundry room on the main floor.
The space
BED & BATHThere are two bedrooms available, each with a queen-sized bed. Perfect for a friends weekend away or for small families! The bedrooms feature bright, Scandinavian decor with plenty of fresh greenery to breathe life into the space. Down the hall, there is an updated four-piece bathroom, including a tub for a soak after a long day on the ski hills.
KITCHEN & LIVING ROOM
For the ultimate movie lovers, there is a TV available in the living room to be enjoyed with a blazing fire roaring in the fireplace. Over in the corner, there is a cozy reading nook with plenty of light and table for your cup of tea. In the kitchen, guests have everything they need to feel right at home. Coffee maker, toaster, kettle, even a blender––we’ve got it all.
AMENITIES
For the grill master, there is a BBQ available located in front of the unit. Grab a glass of wine and head to the patio to watch the sunset behind the surrounding forest. There is a free washer and dryer in the unit for those who want to freshen up during their stay. Additionally, there is free on-site parking available.

TRANSPORTATION
Need a lift? Take the bus! Kimberley Transit provides four different routes using fully accessible buses available to everyone in the community. Route 23, The Peak to Platzl Shuttle, is a free scheduled service between the Kimberley Alpine Resort base area, on-mountain accommodations and the downtown shops, pubs and restaurants. The town is also very bike friendly, so once checked-in, you could easily access the highlights of Kimberley on two wheels.

- No pets (unless you are in a pet friendly unit)

- Do not track mud, coal, or any work-related mess into the unit. Furthermore, please do not bring work materials or supplies into the property. Instead use allocated storage locations

Excellent accommodation on Kimberley ski hill. Detached unit was private and quiet and in a nice neighbourhood. The unit itself was well kept. Host was proactive and responsive.
Great value. Highly recommend.
I was just in town quickly for a wedding but it was the perfect place to stay. We felt right at home and the location was quiet, easy to find and close to everything we needed.
A few more hints on how the devices work would have been helpful such as heating system or stove (one plate did not work).
Apart from that everything was perfect, exactly as shown in the pictures. Great views!

Really nicely decorated place - exactly as the photos show. Only a short walk to the slopes for ski in/ski out. Kitchen really well stocked with cooking stuff. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
Clean and very usable space. In suite laundry was a great bonus. Appliances are old and noisy and bedrooms are small but the living room and kitchen area are good.
Our condo was an easy ski in and out from the hill. You cannot beat the Kimberley sun rises over the Rockies. We had everything we needed, with lots of space to relax after a day on the hill.

I was a long term stay over two months. A few growing pains with the space that I don’t think a short-stay weekend guest would notice, overall it was as advertised and a sweet location!

Went skiing for the weekend with a old university friend. Ski conditions were good. Fun to visit downtown Kimberley.
NOTE: There is not a taxi or uber available.
Megan’s place was a great little getaway. Perfect for small family, clean, organized and tidy. Walls are a bit thin - can hear neighbours so conscious of quiet time. All comforts of home provided.
